25 Most Brilliant And Eye-Catching Statues From Around The World

Statues are a common sight in cities and represent an integral part of a cityscape.  Some of them remind us of important events or people. Others are creative and are an enrichment for the cityscape.

The examples shown below can be classified as amazingly creative and can be surely regarded as a centerpiece in their cities. Moreover, the artists of the statutes have certainly proven their creative vein by creating these magnificent pieces, which seem to fit perfectly into their environments.

However, the “Lion Man” is the oldest sculptures ever found and it is around 30.000 – 40.000 years old. It was found in 1939 in Germany  few days before the beginning of the Second World War [1].
