In the previous post “35 Very Meaningful And Clever Ads Promoting Social Projects That Will Make You Think Twice!” some of the ads presented already included animal protection matters. However, this post will show only heartbreaking ads, which indicate the ugly truth we actually have to face.
Furthermore, according to the UN Environment Programme, our planet Earth is in the middle of a mass extinction of life. Even though our knowledge of the universe is greater than our knowledge of the biodiversity on our planet, it is estimated that between 150 and 200 species become extinct every day. [1]
The UN Environment Programme also states that the cause of this mass extinction is in large measure due to “humankind’s unsustainable methods of production and consumption, including the destruction of habitats, expanding cities, pollution, deforestation, global warming and the introduction of “invasive species””. [2]
Which of the ads is the most shocking one? Do you agree that we have to change the way we produce and consume? Or is it just a natural process that all those species will become extinct some day? Leave a comment below!
