When essential life questions overweigh the daily routine at a university, something unusual might be happening. Randy Pausch, a computer science professor, who used to work at the Carnegie Mellon University, decided to turn things around at his last lecture.
Knowing that he is terminally ill, Randy created this brilliant and life-affirming last lecture, which is surely a masterpiece. His pancreatic cancer changed his perception of the important things of life and he shares his view in this 76 minute video full of emotions, motivation and wisdom.
Unfortunately, Randy passed away in 2008, but his legacy will never be forgotten. We take everything for granted until something or someone is taken away from us. Only then we realize the real value of certain things. Consequently, let the wisdom of this professor enlighten you.
