This post proves that award-winning art can happen everywhere, even on disposable napkins. Nina Levy has been drawing since 2006 on the lunchbox napkins of her seven and eleven year old sons.
The napkin project, was actually an idea of her sons. As Nina states “Our napkins usually come back home along with all the uneaten food. They are sometimes crumpled and a little spotty, but usually in fairly good condition. Neither child used them for their original purpose anymore” [1].
However, Nina was able to win the TUACA napkin competition and won the grand prize. The image below with the two lions in a bar was selected as the grand prize winner.
